Katherine O’Connell whose Buddhist name is Pema Khandro, meaning Dakini or Angel of the Lotus Family, embodies a deep and rare wisdom.
A professor of Western Psychology and Chinese Medicine, Pema is a natural teacher, with immense clarity and loving kindness.
She inspires people with warmth, depth and compassion and she also serves others as an East/West Interfaith Minister and the Chancellor of an international distance training program in Interfaith Ministry and Spiritual Counselling.
A Clinical Psychologist for many years she also has a background serving as a policy consultant to a U.S. President and is an internationally known author, consultant and speaker.
One of her inspirations as a Psychologist was Dr. Carl Jung who also utilized Astrology as a tool for growth and transformation. She was fortunate to have studied with some of the pre-eminent Psychologists and Astrologers of the last century.
Pema provides spiritual and professional coaching and counseling services by phone and in person. The Astrological chart is one tool she frequently utilizes for personal, relationship, business, investment and health related consultations.
She is of Celtic and Native American/First Nations background and has made a life study of indigenous healing practices and cosmologies from around the globe.
She incorporates her understanding of mythology, storytelling, and ancient mystic wisdom into her astrological consultations and counseling techniques. This approach offers a very clear insight into our archetypes of ourselves as individuals, in our community and our purpose on this planet. This also connects us to the collective consciousness and how it continues to unfold by the co-creation of all.
